"Blessed to be a blessing"
Before we going further, let me tell you about myself.
My name is Jason Tanardi, and you can simply call me Jason. I was born in Bogor, 30th June on the year of ox based on the chinese zodiac. My dad is a businessman, and my mom is a housewife. I have one older brother, he got his bachelor degree of Architect Engineering from Parahyangan University, Bandung, and he start his own office in Bandung now.
I considered my self as an ambivert or the one between extrovert and introvert. Sometimes I just want to solve all of my problems all by myself and keep it just for me. But there are times when I want to be surrounded by friends even be the center of attention (sometimes).
Since I was a kid, my life has been one amazing journey. Living in Bogor is not a regret at all. The city only 1-2 hours ride from Jakarta, and can be said a civilized city. This not-far distance from the capital city,made me and my family mostly spent our weekend in Jakarta or Bandung. During my elementary school level, I started introduced with traditional sundanese music, pupuh sunda. After school, I practiced until late and its not only 1 or 2 days in a week. Its5 days in a week. But it all paid off when I got the 2nd rank for pupuh sunda province championship.
Passing the elementary school, on the junior high school level, I started shift from traditional songs to pop songs. I joined some singing competition and I won some of them. Also, I started to join math olympiad, but only get through the top 40. Entering the senior high school, I also participated on some english competition, like english debate, story telling, speech and so on. My competition spirit has been built since I was a kid, and that is why I sometimes competitive with others. On the senior high school level, I also joined the Siswa Berprestasi competition se-Kota Bogor and I won the second rank.
Coming to university life, I feel so blessed that I got the first scholarship where my parents don't need to pay anything for my college. Supported with all of the winning awards, I passed without any test. From the first semester until now, which is the 7th semester, I always try to keep my grade on the standard.
Now, I joined PUMA Management 2018 as the Head of Academic Division. I organized 2 sub-division the academic research and academic development. On academic development I supervised Management Concentration Talkshow, Indonesia's Next Top Manager, and Management Award. While on academic research, I supervised on preparing competition mentor, Lecturer assistants, and so on. I also joined some events in PUMA also outside PUMA.
Now, let's talk about the quote I stated on the beginning of the website. Blessed to be a blessing has been my life quote. The first one, is I am blessed that I am surrounded by friends who understand and know me well. I know that each of them is the blessing for me from God. I met a lot of various friends and thank God I made friends with all of them now. Next, what I do is every time I see a friend that is lonely, I always try to cheer them up because I want to share my blessing from God to him/her.
Next one is I am also blessed to travel to some of the countries in the world. I met amazing friends all around the world and make connections with them. Every time I go, I always try my self to become a blessing. One of the simple example is by giving to the people in the street, sometimes when I got blessed with extra money, I also blessed my friends. I really believed that with being a blessing we will get blessed. Its a feedback from blessing. Blessing come to us through every things in your life start with a new day to live, still have money to buy foods and eat. So, don't afraid to be the starter. If you bless people, hopefully the people will bless the others as your blessing can be spread to all the people.
