MIS Week 2

The past 1 week been an amazing week for me. Every thing went smooth for me start from the events I joined, personal life, and so on.
Let me tell you the most exciting thing happen to me in the past 1 week.
One of the exciting moment is I met this girl and she's been driving me crazy as I can't take my eyes on her.

Let's down to business.
Management Information System week 2 lesson discuss about Global E-Business and collaboration. There is a lot of goals on the week 2 subject. But, the main goal is to understand about the business process and how it is related with Management Information System.
So, what is business process?
Business process is a collection of activities required to produce product/service between each division on the business or simple is can be said as steps on doing business. Business process need to be understand by business owners as it is the main point before running a business. Usually a business process followed with flowchart. Flowchart is there to make the business process clear and easy to be understand.
What are the 5 main points of business process?
a. Design
Put all the idea of the business process, design what kind of business do you want to produce.
b. Model
After you have in mind about what business do you want to produce, the model of the business is also important. Model business how its started until the end as it give value to the business owners also costumers.
c. Execute
Execute or RUN your business. Start from how it start on the model, follow until the finish line of the business.
d. Monitor
When the business run already, monitor the business as sometimes the business does not go well as the model, it might be different, so it might have to change on the model part.
e. Optimize
When the business process already execute, and during the monitor there is lack of something, optimization need to be done so the business can also maximize the profit.
How MIS help on the business process?
a. With MIS, we can identified bottled neck problem which is the queuing on the business. As MIS will alert either the business need to be wider as there should no queuing.
b. Automization
With the help of MIS, business process can be automated as it will be faster.
c. Information needed is different by each level
As MIS will separate the data for each of division on the business. So, only the important data or data needed by specific division that can be gained.
As explained above, I really hope my short blog will make you understand a little bit about the business process and how MIS help on the business process. We can see MIS makes the business process easier and effective.
